Position: Sales Representative – Structural Steel Fabrication

Location: Remote

Compensation: $60,000 – $90,000 Base + Commission (1–2%)

American Dream Search is representing a leading supplier of structural steel components for the solar industry that is launching a U.S. fabrication facility in Memphis focused on cutting and precision punching of long structural members. This organization is positioned at the forefront of infrastructure and renewable energy growth, supplying precision-fabricated structural steel components to high-demand industries. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a company scaling production capacity and aggressively expanding its commercial footprint.


Production (cut and punch) Capacity:

• 6–10 truckloads per shift

• Up to 2x capacity with dual-shift operations


What You’ll Be Selling

Customized, value-added structural steel fabrication services at high volume, including:

  • Cut & punched structural components
  • W-beams, tubing (square/rectangular), channels, angles, flat bars, sigma beams
  • Specification-driven, engineered steel solutions


Target Markets

Core Markets

  • Solar EPCs & tracker companies
  • Structural steel fabricators (outsourced processing)
  • Data center infrastructure & rack systems
  • Equipment skid manufacturers

Expansion Markets

  • Power & utility infrastructure (substations, BESS)
  • Modular construction & cold storage
  • Warehouse racking & automation (ASRS)

What We’re Looking For

- Those with with 3-7 years of experience in Metal/Steel Fabrication Sales, with a focus on structural steel members.

- Familiarity with Cut and Punch or Drilling Processes. While high-volume punching is a new area, experience with cutting and drilling processes in structural steel fabrication is highly critical to this role.

- Those with an ability to generate high sales volume. The new production line has a very high capacity, so the ideal candidate needs to be able to help digest those volumes, with an expectation of $5 million in revenue in the first year.

- Those that engage in proactive customer acquisition and market exploration. Candidates should be capable of conducting online research to find new, large-volume customers across various industries, including modular manufacturers, AI data centers, and skid manufacturing, beyond the current solar foundation focus.


Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $60K–$90K
  • Commission: 1%–2% of revenue
  • Higher margin deals = higher commission
  • Designed to reward both volume + profitability
