Position Summary
We are seeking a commercially sharp Account Manager with experience selling electrical steel, specialty flat-rolled products, or technically complex steel solutions.
This individual will manage and grow a defined portfolio of OEM and Tier 1 accounts, serving as the primary commercial interface while collaborating closely with internal technical, operations, and supply chain teams.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Understands long-cycle sales and technical selling
- Is comfortable navigating large, sophisticated customers
- Wants to sell a premium, high-demand product with real market tailwinds
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of OEM and Tier 1 accounts across automotive, EV, motors, and power markets
- Drive revenue growth through pricing strategy, volume optimization, and account expansion
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customers
- Coordinate internally with technical, quality, operations, and supply chain teams
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and adjacent markets
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites and industry events
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in steel, metals, or engineered materials
- Prior experience selling electrical steel, specialty flat rolled, or technical steel products strongly preferred
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 manufacturers
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to navigate complex customer organizations
- Comfortable with pricing, contracts, and margin management
- Professional, credible presence with strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed (30-40%)
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $100,000–$150,000 (dependent on experience)

Incentive Compensation: Bonus Plan (20%)

OTE: $120,000 - $180,000
